The Crescent Moon

While I respectfully did not get a pic of the crescent moon, the Atlanta Delta SkyClub definitely attracts all types, including potential plumbers. I am thinking this one, sitting on the backless stool at one of the work stations, was probably a master journeyman plumber, if you know what I mean. Some things just cant be unseen.

The Arrogant Lady Traveler

Every now and then I have a bad air travel day. Today is one such day. After flight cancelations, rebooking, weather and mechanical delays, I sit in the Atlanta airport again at the mercy of the airline and trying to get home. But my first flight was my bad experience. I boarded the small regional jet and settled in to my exit window seat as I watched the rest of the passengers board this very full flight.

Sign of the Times

I was on a plane recently and as a very frequent flyer I boarded in the first group. I had a bulkhead seat with the small TV screen mounted on the wall in front of me. A mom and her young daughter (probably 5 yrs old) were standing beside me waiting for the aisle to clear. The little girl looked at the tv screen and excitedly said "a TV, where's the remote?". To which I showed her you had to touch the icons on the screen, to which she responded "Touchscreen!, Cool!". Maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny coming from a tot.

The Airplane Just Needed a New Engine

Dear Delta, posting a thirty minute flight delay when the aircraft needs an entirely new engine is a bit optimistic, don't you think? Literally, the engine parts were sitting on the runway when you posted a 30 min delay....causing me missed opportunities for alternate plans. Thanks for finally canceling the flight on that plane with no engine.
